Car Accident

I got news from my boss that he had accident during his on way back to KL from Penang yesterday.

His car spin about 10-18 times, hit road divider on his right about 2-3 times.
Fortunately he managed to avoid deep cliff on his left @ 160KM/H for about 100m in heavy rain. Alhamdulillah, Allah saved him..

A bit about rain & speeding vehicle ( Something to share ):
Heavy rain will cause the speeding vehicle to hydroplane. The faster the car travel, more chances the car will actually glide over the water surface. Means the care tire will not/ less make contact with the road surface.

Therefore, braking is useless due to 0 friction (NO MATTER HOW CANGGIH IS THE BRAKING SYSTEM). A water flow beneath the tire will create an extra force and will cause LIFT just like an aeroplane. Meaning, a speeding vehicle is actually "FLYING".

Heavy vehicle or even a hi-tech racing vehicle (actually racing vehicle is far more lighter) when traveling at high speed (60 km/h is consider as high speed in raining condition and slippery road) will create high inertia (reverse force required to stop a moving object)...

So just imagine how much inertia is created when a vehicle traveling at 160km/h??
It requires a parachute attach to our car in order to stop :-p

Conclusion: Driving fast in raining condition is EXTREMELY dangerous.
